I bought my car from this dealership back in March. I recently had some maintenance issues with the car, so I brought it in to get it taken care of. It was a complete wasted trip (1.5hr drive from my house). It started off with the guy telling me that there wasn't any technicians available to work on my car since it was a Chevy and this is a Toyota dealership. I said "well I made an appointment, the lady verified what vehicle I had, and I bought this car from here". He said "well you may have to leave it for a day or 2 for us to work on it". I told him that I could not do that since this is my only means of transportation and I asked if they provided rentals. His response was "the list for rentals is so long you won't receive one before we are done working on your car". I told him that he needed to figure something out because I needed my car worked on today and I scheduled an appointment and that's something they should check before scheduling. So he went to talk to his manager and then comes back saying we can loom at your car today. So I go in and wait to find out what is going on with the car. He come back after about a hour and tells me I need new tires. I said "ok well I have only had this car 4 months so why am I needing all 4 new tires?" He said "because the alignment is off and your tires are worn down". I told him that this obviously was a problem with the car when I purchased it so it should be covered under warranty since they have the certified pre-owned warranty. He then again said "let me speak to my manager". This time I waited 2 hours and finally had to hunt him down, and ask if he found anything out. He said "I haven't talked to my manager yet" then walked to go find him. He comes back and tells me the sales manager is going to speak to me, and to go have a seat at the small table. I wait another 20 minutes and I talk with the sales manager who was very helpful and seemed appalled at the fact that I had now been there 4 hours and haven't gotten anywhere on the car issue or even been given a quote on what I would need to pay. So he goes to find the service manager. He comes back and tells me that the service manager will be with me shortly. This is when the service rep that I've been dealing with all day comes and apologizes for not giving me a quote and is still set on me purchasing new tires and tells me it will be around $860 for tires and oil change. I said "I refuse to pay that. I don't need new tires and shouldn't need new tires after only having the vehicle for 4 months". He then leaves again to go get his manager. This guy comes and sits down with him. He never once introduced himself or even asked my name. He just started telling the guy what to take off the bill and such. I told him he can take it all off because I refuse to pay it. He stood up and walked away. I told the guy I just wanted my oil changed and nothing else. He leaves and comes back about 45 minutes later and tells me that I owe $90.04. I said when I scheduled the oil change I was it was $69.95. He said yeah but we did an alignment on your vehicle so that's what you're paying for. I told him I never once agreed to that. That I told him to just do an oil change and I refused to pay it. His response was well we already did it so you have to pay for it. I argued with him for about 5 minutes and told him he needs to work on his communication skills because not only did he give me the run around all day he failed to listen or communicate with me. I was finally fed up and just paid the $90.04. I paid with cash and he apparently couldn't take cash payments. So he took me over to another desk where a lady was. She had her mouth full of mouth wash and didn't even speak to me. She motioned her hands and pointed at the amount due on the paper and did more hand motions and mumbles while taking my payment. After she gave me the change back she motioned me out the door and mumbled and waved. At this time I was completely fed up with the unprofessionalism. I said where is my car, no one has communicated with me on where I go to get my car. She then finally spits out the mouth wash and tells me where my car is. She then proceeds to tell me she's sorry she was going to get her lips done and wanted to make sure her breath didn't stink. I just said I don't care I want my car so I can get out of here. She then asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager because she could tell I was not happy and wanted me to leave happy. I told her I had already spoken with the manager and she insisted. She went to get him and came back and said "oh he said he spoke to you already and he doesn't need to speak with you again". I said yeah and he was no help in the beginning either and I left. I will not ever come back to this dealership for anything and will not refer them to anyone as well.

Let me start by saying, the reason I went to get me a car from AUTONATION TOYOTA was because my family had previously bought their last 2 SUVs from Autonation Ford, which is right on the side, so I assumed service was going to be about the same experience. Wrong! Buying process was not the problem, the problem is once you have to take it for service. 1st experience was when a front sensor had to be replaced, (if you trying to get something "fixed" plan on leaving the car, don't wait like I did because is gonna be a 4+ hr wait everytime) Well the service advisor told me the sensor was repaired okay cool, once I get the car back I notice the bumper wasn't placed back in there properly (brackets showing by the headlights) so I go back being understanding that they have more cars to work on and mistakes can happen, well this time I'm told the bumper was already like that and that the car had been crashed before that's why. Unless it was crashed from the service lane to the shop back there because my car has never been crashed nor do I let someone borrow it so 🤷🏻‍♂️, they ended up putting the bumper back together but still told me it had been crashed 🤦🏻‍♂️. Then I go in because the sunroof is not working properly, goes in at 715am I'm told they might have to replace the sunroof and find me a loaner because they can'tgive me the car back like that, okay cool. At 11am I'm told they don't have a loaner so collision tape will do the job and the roof will be waterproof until the sunroof they ORDERED arrives. I get my car tapped up and when I get home half of the roof is now with no tape because of the wind. So I do tell my advisor to please find a way to get a loaner by the end of the day and let me know please , mind you is now 1pm. At 430p I decide to go back and find out what happened I get a call finally, talking about 1) they don't have a loaner. 2) We won't be able to do the repair you'll have to take it to another Toyota dealership. ( like I have all the time off my job I want to be wasting days at dealership waiting rooms) Also there was a miscommunication and we didn't ordered the sunroof. So my thing is, we couldn't have said that from 730a-12p somewhere I that time frame Vs having me go back and forth and now by 430pm there's nothing I can do anymore, service depts at other dealerships were closed already. I would say if you end up buying a car here, be mindful service isn't going to be what your salesman tells you is like

Prior to purchasing a vehicle from AutoNation, my family purchased a vehicle from another dealership. We actually returned there several times because our experience was SO GREAT! Sadly, they didn’t have the vehicle we were looking for this time. Thus, I found one I liked at AutoNation. I first sent an email inquiry and began corresponding. Then, I decided I wanted to see the vehicle in person. The dealership itself is a very clean looking building. The people seem friendly, but not overly enthusiastic with customer service. It was a completely different atmosphere than the other dealership I mentioned. Upon seeing the vehicle, which I really liked, I asked about price negotiations. I was unaware that this place operated like a CarMax...apparently a lot of dealerships are headed in this direction. While the salesman I worked with was helpful and informative...again there wasn’t much on the customer service side of things. I ended up leaving because I’d been there so long and had some things to take care of. When I got home, I looked up vehicles online again. I found one at the other dealership so decided to stop by there the next day. They were willing to work with me on the price and I was pretty set, but it was not the vehicle I really wanted - a Toyota Tacoma. So, when I returned to AutoNation to purchase the vehicle, I was very hesitant because there were issues with finance. They ended up running my credit three times. Also, I kind of felt like I wasn’t as important as someone purchasing a new vehicle. I understand this is just my experience, but I just want to caution people before they go in there. I definitely don’t feel like I really want to return or recommend any of my friends and family to go here. Overall, they did give me a great deal on my trade and the price of the 2016 Tacoma was reasonably priced compared to other dealerships around. However, they simply lacked in customer service.

I have tire and wheel protection, which I was hesitant to buy because they always find an excuse. But in this case the advisor Luis, took upon himself to tell them that it was not covered and he could not understand how the tire sensor was broken . When I called the insurance company about the sensor, they did not know about the broken sensor and the the body shop needed to call them directly. Well, since I was on the phone , I passed the phone to the advisor and he then took upon himself to tell them that it was not going to be covered, and that the sensor was not in the part of the damage and well they took his word because he is the “ expert “. I asked to speak with the manager, well the assistant manager comes Jose and I explained myself, he told me that he was going to take pictures and called the insurance and talk with them. When I called back, to my surprised, he told the same advisor to take care of it. Hello, he already knew if was not going to be covered , especially if he messed everything up. He should have submitted everything up, the first time and let the insurance make the decision. He is saying that he sent the pictures again, I called the insurance and they told me that the pictures were submitted at 1:27 ET pm. Proving that he did not send the pictures to begin with, and that he was not taking my case seriously. Jose even told me he was going to talk with the manager. When I talked with the manager, he did not know anything about it. They want me to change me $399 . They lost my business and will take my car somewhere else. Retrain your advisors, when I called to check if the tires were there, he said no, not even checking for sure. He calls 15 minutes later, oh surprise, they are here. Bad experience!!! Not recommended. Another bad experience on September 2022. I have to go t9 this dealer because my oil change can only be done on this location. Darlene, my service advisor was awesome, she really tried her best to satisfy me as a customer,. It is not her fault what happened but I have to tell my experience. First of all, as soon as you enter you have the machine that scans your car, and they told my that the alignment was bad on the back, I said that was strange since I did an alignment with them 6 weeks ago. After checking the date , they will going to check and that will add an hour to my oil change appointment. I said ok. After an hour and a half , I check the status of the car and they told that it will take longer because they have like 20 cars ahead of me.but she was going to check for me After 2 hours and some, she told me that the machine read wrong about the alignment , that everything was fine and just wait for the key. After waiting for another 20 minutes, nothing. She had to go on the back and they didn’t know where my car was. Darlene, poor thing, had to go in person and hunt for my car. She found it in the back because the technician didn’t do the job correctly and left the car and key not in the correct place. After getting inside my car, 3 hours later, the sticker for the oil change was not replaced and the car keeps on sayings maintenance required. Like I said, the technician was not doing their job, or being pressured to finish jobs faster. There were a lot of cars being serviced that day. They shouldn’t accept appointments if they can’t keep up with the service. Also, they need to be careful with that scan machine that is saying that need alignment when not, spending $129 for nothing. Not recommended.
