Drove about an hour to AutoNation Toyota 45 from Katy due to a recommendation from a friend and boy I am so thankful to do so. Picked up my Brand New 2022 Tundra Today. Mr. Abdul Aziz was my salesman. From the get-go he was so nice and easy to work with. Not pushy or salesman type at all. He was extremely transparent with AutoNation’s way to business. He told me they do not charge silly market adjustment markups and that was absolutely the truth. Mr. Abid Massiah from the finance department was also very thorough and helpful. Aziz showed me all the New features of the Tundra and completely gave me an amazing experience. Even after the sale, he has been very helpful with accessories and other things I want to add to my tundra. I will definitely send him and AutoNation more business for this first class experience. Just recently purchased a vehicle from this location being it was the only location not taking deposits, and having a wait list. The sales rep I worked with (Rachel Deleon) was fantastic. Really. I inquired about a camry xse and within minutes she gave me a call and worked with me for about two weeks to help get my hands on the vehicle. Given the car shortage, and having recently totaled my vehicle Rachel understood the urgency and went above and beyond to help me secure the vehicle I wanted. Even after purchasing she is still following up accordingly to make sure that I do not have any issues with the vehicle after having taken it home. Would recommend Rachel to anyone looking to purchase!

A disaster! Dropped car at 9, didn't get till 430. They always wash the car and this time I leave it dirty and they don't wash it...smh. they don't answer the phone, or they hang up on you 8/8/22 second review... I was ecstatic to learn I bought a package to get 6 more oil changes and tire service. They have a checklist they give you that explains what they did. In there it states tire checked, tire rotation, and I know for a fact they didn't do a tire rotation because I have a pc of rubber missin on one and it was still in the same position(front passenger side). Makes you wonder what else are they not doing.

My service rep was polite and wait time use to be 2 to 3 hours but was only 40 minutes and everyone was polite and cost was not that bad around 70 bucks for synthetic oil change. Service Manager is this giant guy who is super nice and has been there for years too. He is awesome.

Had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Arrived on time. I was told 1 hour. After more than 2 hours without an update I saw my car brought out. When I went to my service advisor, I was told she was waiting on paperwork. A few more minutes and I was finally on my way. I have drive through oil change place five minutes from my house. 🙄

If you decide to explore the inventory here I recommend you stay away form working with Abdul Aziz. He scheduled an appointment with me to test drive a truck and all he did was waste my time. I drove about an hour and when I arrived, the manager informed him the truck was not ready for viewing. I am a cash on hand buyer and wash excited to test drive and buy it. This guy is irresponsible and a classic example of why salesman have a bad rep.

Didn’t have an appointment for my oil change but was in and out in about an hour or so. I’m used to waiting 2-3 hours with an appointment at other places so it was a nice alternative. I normally drive into Houston to get the cheaper pricing but they were the same price. Pablo was my service tech. Knowledgeable, professional and to the point. I’ll be back.

I was having pretty scary transmission issues. Turns out my vehicle had a recall for that specific problem. Sadly, I had to edit my review because it seems that I can't ever agree with the ghetto service that they have. I have purchased 2 new Toyota tundras in the last 8 years and both times have been mistreated badly. Sadly, I have had to drive to Toyota of Katy or Toyota of manvel. So sad I can never do business at this location because it's only 5 mins away. I don't recommend. Service and staff are YUCKY.

This review is in regards to my second service visit at AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway. This will be a two part review in which I will describe my experience with the actual dealership and the service advisor who attended to me. I found this dealership to be very capable, clean, and comfortable upon my second arrival. I was attended to immediately the moment I entered the vehicle servicing check-in area. The staff here is very friendly & helpful. I am knocking one star off my dealership review because they have a huge showroom with no show in it. Now, I understand that we're all now living in a post-pandemic era along with there being a shortage of various automotive resources but, I feel that a dealership should be more accommodating to people who could be potential buyers. It would have been so entertaining to be able to spend some time with a Toyota vehicle I have been considering as a future purchase while I waited for my current vehicle's servicing to be completed. My first & second impressions of this dealership were great but, not being able to spend time physically analyzing a Toyota vehicle I have had my eyes on bummed me out in the first visit and really disappointed me in my second visit. I truly hope that the showroom at AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway can be brought back to life in the near future so that I can have a more fulfilling experience at this dealership during my service visits. Now for my review of my service advisor, Marily. It is a real pleasure to work with this intelligent young lady. I absolutely love the confidence she has in knowing that she is able to assist me with any needs I may have with my vehicle. Marily always has or finds an answer for my servicing questions. This second time around I had a specific reasonable pricing request for my vehicle and she was able to accommodate my request. In her doing this for me it made me feel extremely valued as a customer. It is that particular type of consideration that would make me a returning customer to AutoNation Toyota for the future servicing needs of my vehicle. Marily is a true asset to this dealership and I hope she is recognized as such. Marily gets a 5-star (*****) review from me. In closing I want to say that AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway is a great place to spend time in while servicing a vehicle. The restrooms are clean, free coffee is available, and I observed the staff to be extremely willing to ensure that anyone coming here is treated fairly. I also TRULY appreciate the free car wash after my vehicle is serviced. Thank you.

She is accommodating and understanding in my wants and needs for the car I wanted. I ended up going with the 2022 hybrid RAV4 xle. I am super happy and it’s my first suv ever! Judith made sure to keep me updated with new arrivals until I was able to get the one I really wanted. Thank you for a great experience Below is an email I wrote to them before I bought our car. “I just wanted to thank you for your time and professionalism today. High quality customer service means a lot to me and both of you showed that to me in your respect for my time and my family. I went by myself to the other dealer and had the exact opposite experience, they did not value me or my time. The explorer they had was identical except it had a sunroof and much lower miles. The price was a bit higher but not much. They added several thousand dollars of dealer add ons to the car which was not reflexed in the sticker price. After two hours of negotiations, they would not remove the junk add ons, so I walked away.”

Rachel DeLeon was very responsive when I emailed to ask questions about cars I was interested in. She answered questions honestly. She asked me questions to pinpoint exactly what I was looking for and my needs in a vehicle. They didn’t have what I was looking for on their lot, but her “boss” Babar Samuel came over and located what I was looking for on a “sister” lot. They transferred it, recertified it, and within just a few days I drove home with it. Sunny Alidina made the paperwork and payment process enjoyable. I am loving my RAV4!

Got a Prius here about two weeks ago or so, after about 11 days I decided this was not the car for me. I went back to the dealership and traded the vehicle in for a Highlander. Brandon D was helpful and went above and beyond to help me get the best deal possible as the Prius was brand new from their lot. It was overall a good experience…only thing is I wish I would have been told I had 5 days to take the Prius back.

Sales team was great. But everything after buying the car has been a nightmare. I've scheduled appointments for car service that was already paid for just to have them turn me away. My plates didn't arrive before the temporary ones could expire so they advised me to drive with expired tags until they could get the plates for me. I had to argue for them to get me the extention for the temporary tags. Once my plates arrived I went back to pick them up the front desk told me just to pull into the service area and that they would help me upon reaching the service area I was told to return to the front desk to pick up the plates. Upon reaching the front desk again I was handed the plates and told to return to the ser ice area. Upon reaching the service area again I was told that I can go now without them have put on my plates. Even contacting customer serive is a nightmare. After trying to file a complaint they instantly dismissed the conversation and claimed that the connection somehow got disconnected. Everyone expects the sales team and people selling the warranties has been very unhelpful. TLDR Service area constantly finds a way to not service my car even for the smallest of services.

I was contacted by this dealership by a sales rep telling me they had the vehicle I was looking for. Early in the conversation I ask this sales rep what the asking price is for this particular vehicle is and was told $33k. So I go in to see the vehicle, test drive the vehicle, to then be told the vehicle is marked up $5,800 over the $33k I was originally quoted. I explained to the manager that is not what the sales rep quoted me. He takes my phone with the text messages that showed what I was quoted to the sales office. They were only willing to come off that mark up $1,500. I would have never wasted my time going to this dealer had this mark up been disclosed to me from the start. Deceiving and misleading people to get them in the door is not how you treat people. The least they could have done to make it right was to honor the original price I was quoted and chalked it up to a learning lesson for the sales rep. Im putting this out there so hopefully other people can avoid being yanked around like I was. If only zero stars were an option…

I don't usually do these reviews but I feel like I should give credit where credit is due. The used car saleman, Leslie, and the used car manager, Orlando, were friendly and helpful with the whole buying experience. They were very attentive and followed up with all the inquires and concerns we had. When we bought our used car, there were a few things that we wanted addressed and they ensured that all of them were met to our satisfaction. There were a few hiccups but they both stayed very professional, courteous and went out of their way to make sure that we were happy customers. The knob to turn the fan on was broken and they were very accommodating in fixing the problem as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a used car here!

Bought a brand new Corolla recently. Because of the current seller market and their 'first come first serve' policy, we were told to get there ASAP when a car become available (even when the car is not physically in the dealership yet). However, on 6/30/22, when we went as soon as we're called, we were told to come back the next day because they can't sell the car to us at the end of the month, and that they are busy doing their month-end paperwork. When we return in the morning of 7/1/22, they made us wait for about 1.5 hours while they were busy doing their weekly meetings and month-end paperwork (again!). We ended up spending more than two hours in the dealership for a transaction that would've been done in 30 minutes or so. Please note the dealership was practically empty when we were there, so they were not busy with other customers, just their paperwork (that was not related with our purchase)! This dealership does NOT have good customer service at all, does NOT make us feel welcome and definitely does NOT respect customer's time.

So I have done business there a few times. Got helped by various sales reps, however it wasn't until Judith Ruiz helped me that I got the service/assistance that I deserved. I was so happy with her help that a few weeks ago I sent a friend of mine there because he needed a car. I told him to specifically ask for Judith as she was the right person to help him. Apparently he also loved her assistance and no bs customer service that he ended up buying a nice little car himself. If someone wants a sales representative that is excited to sell and make sure that you are not getting the short end of the stick..you definitely need to go to her. She looks out for her customers.. unlike others there that only see you as a commission payment. She's amazing!

You can tell he truly loves what he does, he went above and beyond. Needless to say, a few hours later I signed for my Highlander. When I came to pick it up the next day, he sat with me for over an hour to hook everything up and get my Toyota app up and running. If you want a new Toyota… go see Francisco!! When filling out all of the financing paperwork, I worked with Taha. He took away all the stress and was really informative on what was going on. There were a few issues with my bank and by the time I came in the next day he was already working with the bank rep to get it all sorted out. Overall it was an excellent experience!

I have had nothing but problems with the service department. I only came back because they offered me a $10 oil change and also because there is a recall. My truck has been leaking since I purchased it. After repeatedly bringing it in to be fixed, I finally gave up. Now this recall is supposedly going to fix the issue. After having the work done it still leaks. On top of that, they tried to charge me almost $80 for the oil change. This is very typical of my more than five years coming here.

Several things just lacking. We were first told that we could use our company tax number, as this purchase was for resale. Then later we were told that we couldn't. We are based in the DFW area, and this purchase was made on line based on the pictures and information provided for by AutoNation. None of the pictures provided by AutoNation showed a 5" red scratch on this gray truck, and the bumper has been hit at some point. It is not terrible, but it is noticeable. Also, nothing was shown or said about the 4 bolt holes on the top surrounding the bed. These are quite noticeable, and look bad. I guess the previous owner had a bed cover and decided to keep it. Truly unbelievable that this wasn't mentioned. I dropped my car off at 7:00am to have the oil changed and a recall. At 7:30am I was in the shuttle on the way to my home. The shuttle driver was very friendly and we had conversation all the way to my destination. I received a call at around 8:40am that my car was ready for pick up. I had a ride back so didn’t need Toyota to come pick me up. When I got there to get my car I found out they had even washed it for me as a curtesy. Amazing service and I love being treated so special. Thank you Toyota your staff is amazing and Luis Guzman was so professional I will be back for my next service.

This dealership is further from me than Demontrond, but I enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly. They take a little long however, the waiting area is always stocked with coffee and clean. The best part is I never have to ask them to wash my vehicle. They do that automatically. At Demontrond Toyota when I spoke to the head service guy, Mike, and asked if they could wash my truck, he responded with, “Well did you buy your vehicle here?” I said no, then he says “well we don’t have time today.” My next purchase will be here. I will never return to Demontrond Toyota. Keep up the good work Autonation!

I purchased a vehicle from here 2 weeks ago. (Used) I was just sen an email that asked me to leave a review. So here it is. If you purchase from here (i wouldn’t again) make sure you read your purchase order and the “fees” that are on there. Particularly a “400 dollar window tint” fee. I asked about it with my sales person, my finance person and was told by both that the tint had already been done. After taking the vehicle to someone who does tint, we were told there was no new tint on the vehicle. After calling this sham of a business out, all we were told was that, “sometimes it gets overlooked so bring the car up and we will put it on”. That’s not how this works, plus the vehicle is a 17 and the tint is fine. It’s a flat out scam and I would never do business with these people again. As of now, we were told we would get the 400 back, but as you can guess, we are getting the runaround about that as well. Stay away from this dealership

First and last time.. I went to drop off my car for service due to my check engine light being on. The beginning was smooth they worked on my car for several hours. When I returned to pick it up I was told it wouldn’t be ready until the next business day which was Monday. So I asked about getting a loaner car because I have to work the next day. I was told right away from the service associate Zulibeth there weren’t any. She didn’t even bother to check or further offer to rent one through a rental company. So I went in the manager office to ask about it due to my warranty covering rental and loaner cars the Manager Craig tell me “ I can’t answer anything until she’s in here” I told him she is not giving me correct info then he turns red and say “ I am getting really UPSET right now!!” I looked at him telling him it was just a question then he tells me again you have to ask her then he yells “ I DON’T CARE IF SHE HAVE TO TAKE YOU TO WORK!!” As I walked out of his office. Mins later the manager DAVID comes out telling me they will have my car ready in a few mins and asking me am I happy very sarcastically. Then here come all the fake apologies as I am paying for my car service. OVERALL THEY DIDNT WANT TO LOAN OUT ANY TEMP CARS AND DIDNT WANT TO PAY FOR A RENTAL. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS . ILL BE TAKING MY CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE! Nobody deserve to be treated like that! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The customer service is poor. There is no communication between the service advisor and you. I don't recommend Paloma or Luis. Paloma will probably transfer you to someone else if she is your service advisor. I took my car in for service on Monday. They drove it 30 miles to "diagnose the issue". They could not fix the issue that day so I told them I would bring it back Tuesday. On Tuesday, I drop the car off to Luis and assumed the issue would be fixed that day so I left and waited for a call. I never received a call or a notification that they were going to keep my only transportation to work. I called AutoNation Tuesday to check on my car and no one answered. Wednesday, I call multiple times from 10 AM, 11:53 AM, 12:36 PM, 3:12 PM, 4:04 PM, 5:20 PM. Not a single service advisor picked up the phone to take my call and give me a status of my vehicle. I was being pushed back into the call queue, ignored, and sent to lines with no voicemail setup. I checked my GPS location of the car and 12 miles were added from 8:53 to around 11 and then was left in the garage. Thursday, I still did not receive any calls regarding the status of my car. I checked the GPS location of my vehicle and it sat in the garage all day until I arrived in person at 4:00 PM. I see both Paloma and Luis hanging around and I get ahold of Luis to get an update. He tells me that the car has been ready but he wasn't sure if I wanted them to keep it to make sure the issue has been resolved. I tell him my documentation and he then hurries to hand me my car and keys without an invoice of the work done. I then move my car aside and go back to ask for the invoice that he did not want to give to me. I should also note my new car smell is spoiled with a dirty oil smell and the issue was not resolved.

I return to the Toyota AutoNation shop a week, to finish the job well and Pablo tells me, The levels is fine, they shouldn't be filled up to the mark.......! So, brands are useless? If is how attend to the basics, what will be relevant in the same way?

Autonation toyota sold my daughter a car with no jack and none of the tires passed inspection but they passed it my daughter put less than 300 mile on it and all the tires were on the wear bars. I guess as a dealer you can illegally pass a cars inspection because you are a deal and a 25 year old girl will never know. Watch you back and your bank acount this deal is a crook and take advantage of a young girl!

Let me start by saying, the reason I went to get me a car from AUTONATION TOYOTA was because my family had previously bought their last 2 SUVs from Autonation Ford, which is right on the side, so I assumed service was going to be about the same experience. Wrong! Buying process was not the problem, the problem is once you have to take it for service. 1st experience was when a front sensor had to be replaced, (if you trying to get something "fixed" plan on leaving the car, don't wait like I did because is gonna be a 4+ hr wait everytime) Well the service advisor told me the sensor was repaired okay cool, once I get the car back I notice the bumper wasn't placed back in there properly (brackets showing by the headlights) so I go back being understanding that they have more cars to work on and mistakes can happen, well this time I'm told the bumper was already like that and that the car had been crashed before that's why. Unless it was crashed from the service lane to the shop back there because my car has never been crashed nor do I let someone borrow it so 🤷🏻♂️, they ended up putting the bumper back together but still told me it had been crashed 🤦🏻♂️. Then I go in because the sunroof is not working properly, goes in at 715am I'm told they might have to replace the sunroof and find me a loaner because they can'tgive me the car back like that, okay cool. At 11am I'm told they don't have a loaner so collision tape will do the job and the roof will be waterproof until the sunroof they ORDERED arrives. I get my car tapped up and when I get home half of the roof is now with no tape because of the wind. So I do tell my advisor to please find a way to get a loaner by the end of the day and let me know please , mind you is now 1pm. At 430p I decide to go back and find out what happened I get a call finally, talking about 1) they don't have a loaner. 2) We won't be able to do the repair you'll have to take it to another Toyota dealership. ( like I have all the time off my job I want to be wasting days at dealership waiting rooms) Also there was a miscommunication and we didn't ordered the sunroof. So my thing is, we couldn't have said that from 730a-12p somewhere I that time frame Vs having me go back and forth and now by 430pm there's nothing I can do anymore, service depts at other dealerships were closed already. I would say if you end up buying a car here, be mindful service isn't going to be what your salesman tells you is like

We purchased our 4 runner, drove it off the lot having ordered and paid for fenders to be put on. Waited several months, constantly checking in, finally called to say we’d be calling BBB. Amazingly the fenders were there the next day. Had them put on, a few months later while driving down freeway one rips off. check others and another one is loose. Call dealership, wait three weeks and take car in. Pick it up and the fenders aren’t properly installed, already peeling up. Now waiting to have them put on again. Absolutely terrible service!

The first 2 times I went in for service I was greeted promptly and my car was taken in for service. This time I was the second car in the bay and after over 15 minutes had to get out and ask what was taking so long, by that time there were over 6 cars waiting. It appears the service department has been “revamped” all new employees. If you have had to replace most of your employees in 2-3 months you need to look at your management team. Your new team of service/customer service need help they are not courteous they do not know how to greet a customer and they love their cell phones. If you see a customer standing around DO NOT go sit at your desk and get on your phone without acknowledging the customer and offering to help. This time not impressed and thinking of looking for somewhere else to have my 2020 vehicle serviced.

Went in with a electrical problem. The tech merely hooked it up to a machine the equivalent of my battery charger and said everything‘s OK. Also sold me another battery my fifth in 17,000 miles. When I ask if they tried to isolate the draw I was told they can’t devote that much time to a warranty repair. So I guess if do you have a cheap repairThis place might be competent to do that. But it also appears that repairing the car for the owner is anything but a priority

To be honest it started out I thought kind of shady. The sales man that I spoke with on the phone said he would be there the next day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Well when I got there he wasn’t there they said he was on vacation. They said he was Disney world as we spoke. No way he didn’t have enough time. That morning I received a call from a manager I don’t recall his name but he asked if I was coming in today to talk about the vehicle. I thought that was kind of strange and when I got there no one seem to know what I was talking about. I had to explain to them that the salesman told me the truck was at a different lot about two minutes away. Now then if I was going to sell a vehicle I would make sure it’s on my lot. After that it was just very confusing. I talk with a manager I think he was the users cast manager. Then I get two sales men. Finally I end up with a Young fella I am Luis Trevino. I kind of upset at first and thought they were trying to pull a fast one on me. They finally went and got the truck and brought it back for me to text Drive. When he pulled up it had black wheels on it. In the pictures original silver sent me they were chrome or silver. Done to find out they were only wheel covers. Went for a test ride it all worked out after that. It was just kind of tough at first I am not sure if I have a good impression of AutoNation Toyota or not. I will complement Lewis Trevino On his professionalism and the way he handled the situation because I was not happy.

Extremely dissatisfied in the service at Autonation. I took my car in for recall service and asked for additional check on my drivers seat. They broke it more than it was when I left it. My service rep appeared too busy to stop and listen to me abd while I tried to explain what I needed fixed she just saying “ok we will text you” never fully documenting my issues or truly listening to my concerns. The guy who actually worked on my car said “I just pulled this piece but I didn’t break it” and that piece he pulled is what he broke more causing wires to be exposed. When I brought up my concerns when picking up my car, my service rep rolled her eyes and One Service supervisor wouldn’t even talk to me. I just can’t believe how bad my visit was.

I recommend this dealership, because it’s easy to make an appointment. You get a friendly greeting upon arrival. I even got greeted by name when I arrived. The waiting area is clean. Good coffee. You can watch tv or just sit and wait in a comfortable area. My service representative was friendly. His name was Jose. Great place to get your car serviced.

The service department at AutoNation Toyota is by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I had an appt scheduled for Sat. 6/19 when I arrived multiple service advisors made eye contact with me and not one bothered to approach me. A kind salesman approached me to offer assistance. The service advisor's office I landed in was inconvenienced by me the second I stepped foot in his office. He told me it would be 3-5 days before they could complete a $250 diagnostic check and tell me why my 2019 Toyota Highlander check engine light was on. Then I was informed that the service advisor I was assigned to was not in that day, when I learned the advisor who I had inconvenienced by entering his office was going to be my advisor I refused to leave my car and give this place any of my business. On top of the awful customer service, this service department NEVER has loaner vehicles. I took my Toyota to Tejas Toyota in Humble on Mon. 6/21 and within 1 hour of arriving my $160 diagnostic check was completed. Within 2 hours of arriving my repair was made and I was on my way. Even though Tejas Toyota is much further for me than AutoNation I will take my business to Tejas as long as I own a Toyota!

I bought my beautiful car March 25. There were some things I wanted looked at so I emailed and texted my sales guy. I called the dealership multiple times as well. When I had the time to bring it across town for them to look at it, I mentioned sediment in the coolant. (This was brought to my attention when I got oil changed, elsewhere, bc I never could get through to a live person.) The guy brushed me off. Kinda laughed even, ?who told you that??.... followed by a condescending ?you didn?t get it changed here??. Um no. I live and work over an hour away, and did I mention Could not get a hold of a person on the phone.... hence why I just showed up and was standing there with no appointment. I gave up that day, frustrated and feeling unheard, but was happy to meet Connie, who gave me her direct line. Fast forward, to the ac going out. I called Connie direct, she transferred me to Tommy. He was awesome. He listened, understood, and even set up for me to come in when a rental was available. Here?s the problem. The dealership states I am 500 miles over my 90 day 4,000 mile warranty. Doesn?t matter I brought it in before, doesn?t matter I emailed. They are willing to do nothing to work with me. The ?Manager? told me it was simple and in ?black and white?. I?m over the mileage. His response was I should have escalated it the day the young guy was dismissive. They want $3500 to fix a strut and the ac...not even 90 days after buying the car. We live in Houston. Also I baby the car. It is obvious that none of the items that need to be fixed, came up within that time frame. The dealership should have taken responsibility. As a single woman, I got warranty and bought from a well known dealership, to be protected from something EXACTLY like this happening. I plan to buy many cars in the future, however I promise it won?t be from them.

I made an appointment to have a repair made to my 2019 4runner due to a manufacturers recall. They kept my car for 3 hours and did some routine multipoint service, but I was never told that they didn't have the fuel pump replacement to make the recall repair. Now I have to waste my time going back to the dealership a second time after they order the part. Why no one in the service department called me to inform that they didn't have the part necessary for the repair is totally unacceptable!

There was bolts open mark by mechanic tools on top of my engine but the repairs wasn't on top of engine and my car is under 2000 miles. Marily in the service department is the absolute best! I had come in for an alignment, but both machines were broken. Marily was so pleasant and personable, I forgot to be mad that I had driven almost 40 miles for my appointment. She promised to get me in when I returned on a different day, no appointment necessary. She did, and I was satisfied. (In the future, customers can easily be notified IN ADVANCE when service can't be completed - obviously the technology already exists. Better customer service would have prevented me from making an 80-mile roundtrip in the first place.)

Do not go here for service! They do not know what they are doing. I have been extremely patient with them but after having my car serviced with them I kept having other issues. I took it over 5 times in 2 months. I would take it in for one thing get it repaired than the next day my check engine light would come on. My biggest mistake was coming here to getting it serviced.

I went in for an alignment Saturday afternoon and my service advisor David Stokley was friendly and responsive, but it still pulls and the steering wheel is still not centered. They are going to re-evaluate the car, but unfortunately I have to take more time and leave work to get it done again. I will update this review after it’s resolved. Update. Added 2 stars for the prompt response. I’ve spoken with David about the issue yesterday. Like I said above, the staff has been great! It’s just the inconvenience of having to get the job done again. I thought I’d be able to come in today, but I’ve got a busy schedule during the week and can’t wait for it. Update 2. Called in today and was told by the service advisor that I can come in after work (5:30) and they’d fix the alignment since they are open till 7. I went home during my lunch break to get the car so I can take it in, but when I got there I was told they weren’t going to be able to do it. I’m wondering if the Miscellaneous $20 charge on top of the quoted $129 alignment price was for the added poor customer service I’ve gotten. At this point, I’ve wasted so much time, and gas, that I just want my money back. I’ll take it somewhere else. Or just keep it and I’ll chalk it up to lessons learned. You may want to reconsider emailing your customers invitations to review. Unfortunately it backfired. The sad thing is that when I lived in NE Ohio I always had great service and never an issue at AutoNation. Southeast Texas is clearly not the case.

I have bought 2 vehicles from Auto Nation Toyota Gulf Freeway. We asked to deal with the same person that sold us the 1st car since he really made us feel comfortable, answered all our questions and sold us the best vehicle within our budget. This time around though, we were not pleased with the same person. With that being said... if it hadn't been for Steven Gates, we would have gone somewhere else. Mr Gates was patient, understanding and got the ball rolling. I'm very pleased with my purchase and glad he was concerned enough to give me his time. Thank you Mr Gates. I've only had my car about 2 weeks but my family and I are very happy with it and enjoying driving around once again.

The “service” department was abysmal the last two times I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance. My wait times to see a “service advisor” was in excess of 15 minutes even though I had an appointment but the real horror show was the checkout. After being phoned my vehicle was ready no “service” advisor was present to check me out. On the first occasion the service manager spent 15-20 minutes running all over the dealership trying to find my keys. This time, believe it or not, the checkout was even WORSE. No “service advisor” to check me out again. Went to the desk where one pays & she paged the advisor. No call after ten minutes. Went back to the desk. Girl finally reached him & he said he was driving another customer somewhere. Had he delegated my check-out to someone else, NOOOO!! The cashier asked him if he could have another advisor check me out but apparently Luis declined that request. So the cashier finally went to his desk & fetched the paperwork & the keys. But when she went outside to find an attendant to bring the car around, none. So, again, the service manager was summoned & had to fetch the car himself. I asked the cashier if she had to do her job & Luis’s wasn’t he somewhat redundant? Told the service manager this was the second such incident & he was very sympathetic. He’s a very nice person & real Godsend!! Bottom line: if you go here which I wouldn’t recommend, get the person who takes appointments go give you one of the female advisors. They seemed to be right on the ball!! PS don’t try a schedule service on their app. That doesn’t work eithet

The salesperson, Francisco, was great . No flaws with my experience with him. What I didn’t like was how his manager and the trade-in evaluator felt to drop my car’s value by $4000 just because a tiny 4 inch screen wouldn’t come on. In the end, we worked it out with my bank and honored the original deal...but it took a solid 3 hours. If they would’ve honored my original trade in deal, none of this would’ve happened and I would’ve rated 5 stars.

That was my 2nd Toyota purchase, I still have my first, 2009 Tacoma. Still in great shape, only costly work was shocks and struts about 2 years ago but thats to be expected. I went for periodical maintenance. I was told it will take 1 hour 30 minutes so I decided to wait at your facility but actually it took more than 3 hours. It's okay to take 3 hours but you should know approx. how long maintenance will be take. If you told me 3 hours at time of arrival, I did not wait at there and back to office to work. Here's what you all did... an oil change, a little jostling and oil to the emergency brake handle. Maybe you did a $180 diagnostics, I can't tell. Skipped the tire rotation. $300.00. Was satisfied with my service. Was in and out in a jiffy this time.. Would have given better start rating but my truck started making a noise after I started it. Took the truck back the same afternoon. Explained to my Service Advisor and he checked under the hood. Come to find out, someone left a empty motor oil container under the hood. Sure hope no damage was done.

I've been going to Toyota since I've owned my car I've always had excellent customer service I have my customer service guy his name is Philippe the service guy that works there he's been awesome with me I had a appointment to go and they told me believe it was no longer there and they gave me a guy named Hector you need to train him again for customer service their customers do matter customers come first and always always acknowledge your customer and he did not do none of the above Hector did not do none of the above I had to go to Felipe and say please take over my case because this guy is not helping me so always go to look Felipe excellent in customer service and he will help you and he explained everything to you

The service quality has been down gradually over the past 2 years at this dealship. A group of absent minded service people first informed me that I did not show us for my schedule appointment time, then they could not locate my past record on the vehicle. I puschased the vehicle with warranty from this dealer 5 years ago and have been using their service for multiple vehicles for the past 20 years. Many good supervisors left this dealship and my last service was also a joke also (they left the old windshield under the newly installed one and I drove home with this cross on my windshield without knowing what was wrong).

Had appt, was early for appt, however took two and half hours just for oil change. I felt like I was in different world because I did not get heartily welcome. Looked like everyone was thinking business and no customer connection I went back to that place after couple years thinking service I can receive may have gotten better, however it went worst from bad. I schedule due to discount offered in e-mail they sent.... still did not see big difference in my paying for service. They added all kind of charges to bring up the total charge. Will stay away from this place....

The service was very bad. I had an appointment at 7:30 am and no one attended me 20 minutes after my arrival. my surprise that almost all staff have been replaced in the 3 months by staff who have not been well trained in customer service. I left my car at 7:50 AM and until 12:28 PM they called me that my vehicle was ready. 4 hours for tire rotation and fluid check. and if transportation is needed it is not available until 10AM.

They are efficient and communicate pretty openly. We have a hybrid Lexus and I’m not sure if they are just not used to dealing with these cars or what, but we needed a new battery and they quoted us almost $500. I called a mechanic in town who specializes in foreign cars and got the new battery + labor for under $200.00.

Communication was poor. It took me calling multiple times and leaving messages for someone to give me information on my car. They then went to texting me. The updates were mostly when I sent a text. All in all I wouldn't recommend them. They are more interested in getting the tickets and slow about following up with the customer. It took over a month to get the repairs. I do have an older car so I understand parts may be difficult to obtain. They insisted that the vehicle was repaired. I still need to drive it more in order to see if the codes are really fixed. After I put more miles on the car I can then determine if I am satisfied with the work. I asked for an appraisal. The offer was grossly under the value of the vehicle.

Prior to purchasing a vehicle from AutoNation, my family purchased a vehicle from another dealership. We actually returned there several times because our experience was SO GREAT! Sadly, they didn’t have the vehicle we were looking for this time. Thus, I found one I liked at AutoNation. I first sent an email inquiry and began corresponding. Then, I decided I wanted to see the vehicle in person. The dealership itself is a very clean looking building. The people seem friendly, but not overly enthusiastic with customer service. It was a completely different atmosphere than the other dealership I mentioned. Upon seeing the vehicle, which I really liked, I asked about price negotiations. I was unaware that this place operated like a CarMax...apparently a lot of dealerships are headed in this direction. While the salesman I worked with was helpful and informative...again there wasn’t much on the customer service side of things. I ended up leaving because I’d been there so long and had some things to take care of. When I got home, I looked up vehicles online again. I found one at the other dealership so decided to stop by there the next day. They were willing to work with me on the price and I was pretty set, but it was not the vehicle I really wanted - a Toyota Tacoma. So, when I returned to AutoNation to purchase the vehicle, I was very hesitant because there were issues with finance. They ended up running my credit three times. Also, I kind of felt like I wasn’t as important as someone purchasing a new vehicle. I understand this is just my experience, but I just want to caution people before they go in there. I definitely don’t feel like I really want to return or recommend any of my friends and family to go here. Overall, they did give me a great deal on my trade and the price of the 2016 Tacoma was reasonably priced compared to other dealerships around. However, they simply lacked in customer service.

I have leased with them 5 automobiles over the years and just recently purchased a Highlander. I have been very impressed with the sales department, the service department, and also the finance department. Clarence Hill in the fleet sales department has been very helpful over the years in helping us to pick out the automobile that we needed. The service department has always been top-notch. And Geoffrey Shepherd in the finance department, was very helpful in getting the financing necessary to purchase our Highlander. If you want a Toyota, these are the folks you want to deal with.

I went to have my puddle light fixed because I took it there about a year ago to have a recall fixed on them. 1. They weren’t centered properly. 2. Shortly after the right puddle light fell out and I tried to put it back and a piece broke off and now it hangs out. I tried to call and ask if it would cost anything to fix it and they told me I had to come in at 7 am on my day off just for me to wait 2 hours for them to try to charge me $400 for this. And after telling them it happened after I had it serviced there they told me since it was so long ago they can’t go off of that. I’ve bought 2 cars from here and I probably will not get my next Toyota from here

Went in to get my vehicle serviced at Autonation Toyota Gulf Freeway on 12/14/2020 at 2:30pm. My car was ready at around 4:30 and I had to wait an additional 45 min to 1 hour since the Service Manager Craig F. decided to hold a meeting with all his service advisors. Which to me should have waiting until closer to the end of the day. There were like 6 customers waiting on their cars while this meeting was going on and the only reason the meeting ended was because a customer asked a worker to get his service rep. because he couldnt wait any longer. This is the second time I have had problems at this dealerships service department but I decided to give them a second chance and its more convenient for me. In the future I will drive to another dealership where I have experienced great customer service and vehicle serviced within a timely manner. Just want to make clear that this was no fault of my service advisor but of actual service manager.

I received one of the worst customer service experience ever with Auto Nation Toyota Gulf freeway. I have been a regular customer at this location for the past 5 years since owning my Toyota, and my last service appointment on 12/10/20 was unacceptable. First, my service Advisor Jose C. had an attitude and didn?t seem interested in taking care of my vehicle let alone want my business at all. Even after setting an appointment I was given a 1 hour and 45 minute wait...after waiting for 2 hours I received no updates on my car. I had to give my advisor a call, which he then told me that it would take another hour for a simple oil change. In total, my wait was 3 hours and this didn?t even include a multi- point inspection because the service advisor didn?t seem to care to have one done. When I picked up my vehicle, Jose C seemed uninterested and just wanted me out the door. After this bad experience, I will not be returning OR recommending any of my friends/family member to this dealership. I am now looking for a new location to have my services done. I would advise Jose C to have a better attitude/tone if you want to provide quality customer service.

I dropped off my RAV4 at dealership because the engine light came on.The dealership diagnosed the problem, and had to ordered parts. There was a delay on the parts delivery, but the dealer installed the parts the same day they received them, as this was what was reported to me days later. Days later, the engine light has not come back on. The dealership's repair shop apparently correctly diagnosed the problem. I Would recommend this repair shop, as the diagnostics were correct, along with the repairs.

I dropped my car off at noon and didn't hear back from anyone until almost 6:00 pm. I called 2-3 times every hour from 3:00 to 6:00pm. I left messages and still no one called me back. I finally got ahold of someone only to be told that the tech was gone and my car should be finished that day. I still didn't hear what was wrong with the vehicle. It wasn't until I called the next morning and received a call Saturday at 8:00am, I had to call repeatedly again on Saturday to find out about the status of my car and didn't get word back until almost 3:00pm. You have to do a better job of keeping the customer informed. If your service managers are so overwhelmed, hire more. As a customer, I don't want to be left in the dark about my vehicle repairs needed, the cost, or the time it will take to repair. It was nice that I could get a courtesy ride home and for the courtesy van to pick me up, but I almost missed that due to the driver is off work at 3:00pm, As I said before, You have to do a better job of keeping the customer informed. I'm not sure if I want to trust my vehicle to people that don't value the customer.

I had an appointment for an oil change. I asked when it was taken back, how long was it taking? I was told about 1 1/2 hours. So, I was expecting the wait. After the time passed. I was told it was almost ready. It was still another hour. It should never take 2 1/2 hours for an oil change especially with an appointment. I'm was very frustrated that it took that long.

I have tire and wheel protection, which I was hesitant to buy because they always find an excuse. But in this case the advisor Luis, took upon himself to tell them that it was not covered and he could not understand how the tire sensor was broken . When I called the insurance company about the sensor, they did not know about the broken sensor and the the body shop needed to call them directly. Well, since I was on the phone , I passed the phone to the advisor and he then took upon himself to tell them that it was not going to be covered, and that the sensor was not in the part of the damage and well they took his word because he is the “ expert “. I asked to speak with the manager, well the assistant manager comes Jose and I explained myself, he told me that he was going to take pictures and called the insurance and talk with them. When I called back, to my surprised, he told the same advisor to take care of it. Hello, he already knew if was not going to be covered , especially if he messed everything up. He should have submitted everything up, the first time and let the insurance make the decision. He is saying that he sent the pictures again, I called the insurance and they told me that the pictures were submitted at 1:27 ET pm. Proving that he did not send the pictures to begin with, and that he was not taking my case seriously. Jose even told me he was going to talk with the manager. When I talked with the manager, he did not know anything about it. They want me to change me $399 . They lost my business and will take my car somewhere else. Retrain your advisors, when I called to check if the tires were there, he said no, not even checking for sure. He calls 15 minutes later, oh surprise, they are here. Bad experience!!! Not recommended.

Due to certain circumstances I needed to acquire a vehicle quickly, and could not visit the dealer location. I found an add on their website for a 2018 Rav4 LE that I wanted to purchase and have it delivered to my home. I called the dealership as soon as it opened and spoke with Julian Almanza. He was very helpful in researching and explaining my options to me and working to get approval for same day delivery. 5:15 PM finance manager Ivan Verde arrived with vehicle and we finalized the deal. I have been a customer of the AutoNation Toyota now at 12111 Gulf Freeway for the last 30 years. This is my 4th vehicle from them. Top notch service all round! I highly recommend them.

We bought a Toyota Tacoma 2019 at this dealer last month. My wife and I had a pleasant experience with the agent Abdul Aziz. I found the truck on Cargurus.com. On the weekend we got to the dealer late in the evening around 7pm, but Aziz was helpful and polite in helping us. The dealer was efficient; we got all the paperwork done in a couple of hours. We picked the truck up on Monday. I would recommend Aziz and AutoNation Toyota to my family and friends.

I had taken my 2020 toyota highlander to a different toyota dealership and after four hours they called me to let me know it was fixed, upon arrival I noticed it was giving me the same error message even before leaving their lot. I asked them why I had been told it was ready and they said they would need another day to do more digging into what was wrong. Instead I brought it to Autonation and they had the download error message repaired and out the door in less than 30 minutes. I will never go back to the totyota on 610 because Autonation has gained a new customer.

Service writers need to take more pride in their work and inform the customer along as things are happening on the vehicle don’t leave them sitting there for nine hours with only two times talking to them and the customer having to get up and check and see how the car is doing and then still not getting the work done! I have been one of your customers for years and have had seven Toyotas but I will not use your dealership anymore.

Overall, the service experience was mediocre. I was in need of a loaner to have the recall and oil change completed and was given a rough time. Was told the car would be cleaned before picking up and it wasn’t done. The service advisers inexperienced and not customer friendly. I found a truck on cars.com from Autonation Toyota Gulf Freeway in Houston TX I was interested in so I contacted dealership via cars.com. I went to the dealer website at about 8:00am (10/16/20). I used the dealer website to make a “reservation”, I was contacted by the dealer salesperson about 9am and I offered to make a deposit to hold the vehicle while I arranged for an independent inspection which was then scheduled for 2:30pm that same day. Dealership pulled out the vehicle in preparation for the inspection. Then at about 12:00p I was called by the salesperson and told the vehicle sold! I said, but I was willing to make a deposit, what about my reservation? Salesperson said that "sorry, priority is given to buyers that come in to dealership". So what's the point of the website “reservation”?! Poor customer service. Don’t waste your time making a reservation on the website. Not recommend.

2-3 hours is a normal wait for oil change. Read the reviews it?s not a one off or exaggeration. They quickly check you in and whisk your vehicle away and park it in a big holding lot out back so you can?t see you?re 30th in line for service. It also took them 6 hours to replace a fuel pump btw. Meanwhile employees avoid customers and do not keep you well informed of your vehicle progress. Or lack or progress. Everyone waiting was irritated for long waits. I recommend service your vehicle anywhere else except here. Are they busy? Yes. Can they handle their customers? NO. Obviously they are WAY overbooking appointments!! So if you do go for oil change pack a lunch or drop it off for the day. Otherwise take it anywhere else and get it done in 15 to 30 minutes. Overall review is a solid ZERO.

I went in for a simple battery exchange with a 84 month prorate warranty and the battery was used for 34 months. One hour and 45 minutes later and they could not tell me how much the battery exchange would be and was trying to charge me 75 dollars to install it. I felt like was negotiating a new car purchase . Because of this I wouldn’t want Ben consider a new car from this dealership.

The last I received service from Automation my service person was rude and seemed like she had an attitude. She didn't offer me the repairs that the technicians suggested and she didn't make sure they washed my car like everyone else's cars. I had to read about yhe suggestions on the paperwork i received at the end of my disappointing visit to Autonation.

I needed a new tire due to a slow leak. Tommy was my customer service person. He was so helpful and polite, walking me through everything and explaining things along the way. I will definitely ask for him when I need to go back.

Had a great experience last night buying my RAV4 xse hybrid! Cynthia, Aziz, Abid, and Isaiah were all very pleasant, informative, and helpful! My only complaint is that I’d like to see more stringent mask-wearing inside the dealership. Other than that, great place to buy a car!

Recall for air bag. Told service rep Luis that my air bag indicator had been on for months. My mechanics put it on the computer but couldn?t tell what the problem was..told me to take it to dealer. So I told Luis it needed to be checked out. Six hours latet when car was ?ready? the recall had been taken care of (I assume) and my tires, wipers, fluids, brakes etc had been checked but my air bag indicator was still on. Luis said ?oh, could be sensor or wiring or something like that.?. In other words, they hadn?t checked out indicator at all so I still don?t know if my air bag works and will have to take ut in again.

Took my car in for a problem with my vehicle. Service technician was rude and was talking to me like I did not know what I was talking about. Then made comments about how funny Toyota vehicles are that when taken to dealership problems cant be replicated. Vehicle was not repaired since supposedly they could not replicate the problem. Why would I waste my time and take my vehicle if a repair was not needed?

Appointment set for 1:30 today after two weeks of trying to schedule an oil change. After no return calls I finally called the sales side and Isaiah got me my appointment. I just left - 3 hours and 45 minutes for an oil change. Completely unacceptable. Tried speaking with the service manager. He didn’t seem to care at all that I was upset. We bought our 4-Runner from your location two years ago. And today is the last time I will set foot on your property. You’ve lost my business permanently.

I went in to AutoNation Toyota to have my tires rotated and the fluids topped off. The service manager suggested I also have the oil changed and a tire alignment as well as the sanitizer service. I agreed and was told it would take two hours. After waiting for 15 minutes for the shuttle, I decided to walk home (just under 2miles). I waited 2 1/2 hours and called five times without connecting to a live person, so after three hours I asked for a ride. I will not take my car back to AutoNation for service even though it is close to my home.

Service Manager Russ Kloskin has been my Service Rep for years and is now the Service Manager. I applaud AutoNation for promoting Russ to his new position. This service appointment for my 2017 4Runner was like all the others in the past, perfect. I take pride in keeping a well serviced vehicle and the service staff under the leadership of Mr. Kloskin continues to do that. I had a low tire and went in thinking I needed air, turns out I had a nail in the sidewall, AGAIN. Since all four of my tires were in different stages of wear and I knew they needed to be replaced by the time it need inspection in December, I decided to just put a new set on. Allyce Bass helped me pick out a good set I could afford and quickly got them installed and balanced and I was on my way.

I made an appointment for the regular tire maintenance. My appointment was first thing in the morning. When I arrived no one was waiting. I was told my service should be "a few moments". I left 2 hours later. I was late for my appointments.

I have gone to several Toyota dealerships around Houston and this is the first one where the customer service rep took to long to ?walk with through? all features of my vehicle and tell me what?s wrong with my car. I came in for an oil change. You all should probe to see if I needed to be talked to about other repairs before showing me alignment, fluid levels, etc. all of that preliminary stuff is a waste of time. I know what I need. I have my own mechanic that won?t up charge or ?find issues? with my car. Cost of oil change wasn?t even discussed before I approved the oil change. That?s more practical, to discuss how much the change will be since I was surprised to see it more expensive than when I had it changed in January at T. McGill. The service rep. Gave me misinformation about cost breakdown when asked why the price is different from last six months ago. Labor cost is ridiculous, too. I spoke to another car center and it will cost me half the price, 60 dollars, as oppose to 100 at your center. So, educating me on my vehicle, after I explicitly told the Rep. What I needed and was hurrying for them to do it, up sale, misinformation, and rude checkout was my experience. Will not return.

In the other hand the dealership new vehicle Is a F its a horrible experience. I had purchased many vehicles from this dealership for about 20 years or so, BUT since 8 years ago they become worst and worst. In the last vehicle puts chase They Change my email so, I was not able to review the purchase. Be aware do not buy any vehicles from this dealership because you will be regret I?m sure is other dealerships that will give you a better customer satisfaction.

This place is a joke. Look at the reviews everywhere else. Its obvious the employees and family put bogus ones up. My experience with these jackwagons is terrible. The sales staff is useless, I went elsewhere in Houston and got a way better deal than these guys tried to bend me over for. I cant stand buying a car because if sales jerks and there tactics that everyone knows about, this place is full of them. Do yourself a favor and dont bother going here

I have a 2005 Toyota corolla. I received a warranty replacement notice for the replacement of portion of the airbag system. I brought my car in to have it fixed. Once replaced my airbag indicator light has turned on two separate occasions. Both times the dealership said the sensor needed to be recalibrated. Each time this recalibration cost me about $200. I find it very hard to believe since 2005 -2020 my airbag light has never came on. But after having warranty work done at this dealership it has come on twice in the last 5 months. Something is not right and this place really doesn’t care to figure it out. But they will take your money over and over again. Not sure what I will do if it comes on again. This place is hopeless. It’s sad.

On June 17, 2020, I went to have a recall repaired on my 2017 Toyota Avalon . Of all the people working at AutoNation Toyota, only one was wearing a mask. When I asked the manager why he was not wearing a mask, he shrugged and said he hadn't put it on yet. I saw him 10 minutes later, and he was still not wearing a mask . When I asked a couple of employees in the service department and in the parts department (who were in regular contact inside the building with customers) why they weren't wearing masks, they shrugged and refused to put them on. This is egregious. We are in the midst of a pandemic and the employees AND MANAGEMENT need to be setting a better example. I have bought two cars from this location of AutoNation, spending $80,000. I will never shop at this location again. I will never service the cars at this Toyota location again.

I bought a vehicle and it has a major leak. I get all wet when is raining. There is water coming out of one of the air con vents too. I took it back to the dealership to get it fixed and they were charging me $600 to get it fixed. I also had oil in the radiator and had to also pay to get it flushed out.

I appreciated that they were fast to greet me as soon as I drove up and liked that they had hot coffee, a bit weak but glad they had it. My rep was Ani and she was very helpful and cheerful. Service area takes too long to work on your car. I have come here 2 times to get my maintenance done and it has taken them more than an hour and a half to finish with my car. ( first time I waited 3 hours!) I moved states and was told when i purchased Toyota care out of state, they cold honor it here. However, many services I would get in FL they can't honor here. If that's the case I should just be going to FL to go get my maintenance done. I could get my alignment done in FL without a charge, even as simple as changing my wiper blades (which is included with my Toyota care.) They never want to do anything here or honor your Toyota care agreement. Definitely the last time I am coming here.

No star for sure. If anyone needs a service or a car fixed, go to the other place have a free diagnosis before coming here. They will somehow get your money. The guy helped me today is Omar as I called earlier and he was the one answering the phone, I came and asked for him. I did ask him I don’t know what happened with my car and my car is under 36,000 miles so it should be under warranty. He mentioned that he needed to check and I pulled out the diagnosis from Autozone. For sure I don’t wanna pay if my car is still under warranty. He mentioned something about if there is a physical problem I need to pay $297 for just diagnosis??? And I told him you should tell me if there is not under warranty, tell me before you’re get any done. He said let me call his college, he called and took few moment and told other to drove my car to diagnosis. After two hours or more, got out and told me I needed to pay 297 if I chose to not fix the car, if I fixed it, I pay around more than 200 and total is around 600. And I told him, you didn’t mention I needed to pay earlier, why didn’t you inform me before. ... I talked to the manager and he gave such examples that we needed to pay for our master, and do you think you go to the grocery store and got food for free. Sir, that’s a different story, is this how you treat customers and made fun of us because I am a woman and don’t understand about the car, or about I am asian and don’t understand English well so you tried to trick me like that. The manager ended tell me if I do the service (get fixed) I don’t need to pay 297 but 600, remembered earlier Omar told me fixed and diagnosis total around 600. Wow anyway, my bad to not recording our conversation. And learn one thing before leaving. I had the thing fixed finally, paid out of pocket around 600, including 10% discount, the manager said oh, that’s money He need to pay, Omar wouldn’t have lunch today because of that, I know for sure they earned more than that. And before I left, I asked Omar so how long warranty for the part, he said 12 months or 12000 miles, which come last. So to be confirmed, I asked again, does that mean if I got the problem with it, bring the car within these conditions, I will get fix for free. He said yes, if that’s the same problem, if not, still need to pay for diagnosis. Then I asked can you showed me which parts should be under warranty, he told me the mechanic guy know that, but I need to know that, if something happens for me in the future, should he at least to get to give me some information, he just tried to make sure I pay, that’s it and sit still in his office, give me the car. Wow, I figured out how dealer service makes the money now. Try to trick customers, what the point for the warranty, if you say I still need to pay for diagnosis. If I a woman know what is wrong with the car, do I need to bring it here and pay that money. He didn’t even wash my car, didn’t show me the fixed thing, just seat in his office. I went out, open the hood to check, one guy is coming and asked what happened. I said I was not sure is that the new one repaired, he explained to me patiently, and I asked why other got the car washed and mine wasn’t, he said oh do you wanna wash, and ask other guy to bring my car to wash. I meant if I knew every procedure needed to be done, I don’t waste my money for that. And does the first help advisor needed to let customers know upfront, and even you aren’t happy with your customers, you still to do your job, I just asked what I don’t understand. I chose AutoNation for the convenience to the location of my job. However, I’m not satisfied with some of the staff. Jose is the WORST customer service rep they have. The rest of the group is pretty good. The wait times are never what the rep says they are going to be. Other than Jose, the rest of the team is friendly. If not for its location, this place would not be my first choice. They are super expensive and charge top rates for parts and service.

Bought brand new car 6 month ago. Was excited to be the only owner to maintain the car with best services through dealer that?s certified and after first oil change all my thoughts went down the drain. After first service for oil change I drove my car out of the lot and after short period of time noticed strong burning odor. I called Autonation Toyota where my car was serviced and requested for my car to be towed. Checked oil level and it barely showed any oil. Driveway has huge oil puddle, underneath of the car it?s covered with oil and found out that unfortunately the service that was performed was done inaccurate that led to have oil leak. I am now very concerned if my car is safe to drive. Any lack of engine oil in the system, or even dirty oil, will lead to extreme engine wear, and driving a car low on oil can lead to some pretty bad situations. If you run out of engine oil, your engine will fail. I am going to follow up with manager and will follow up with updates.

He even followed up after I?d waited to see why I was still waiting. So far the sevice is perfect. The technician came out and he definitely lacked customer service skills. As I turned down the recommended devices, his attitude became worse. He struggled to open my hood and I offered to assist him but he declined and said he was going to check my plugs but it?s okay because I?m almost at 100,000 miles so I should go ahead and get the service. I declined because he didn?t check under the hood. He offered an alignment but I explained I already have a lifetime warranty and he cut me off and said the oil change will be 93.00 for synthetic oil. I explained I had a competitors coupon, which they always have taken in the past, and he said the coupon had to come from Autonation. I still needed the oil change so I told him to proceed. I went to check with the cashier and she told me that the coupons always had to be from an Autonation dealership. I asked her to research my account and she left to speak to service technician. When they returned to the sales floor laughing the technician told me he wouldn?t accept my physical coupon but he would accept a competitor coupon from offline. This didn?t make sense and I get all of my vehicles serviced at this location, so I left. I definitely wouldn?t recommend this location.

I went to the service department to have a U-Joint replaced. The labor rate at this location is $168/hr. A U-Joint takes about 30min-1hr to replace. The parts cost of a U-Joint is about $50. So a quote of $225 to replace a single U-Joint would be reasonable. However, I was told that all 3 U-Joints should be replaced at the same time. I understand the need to replace all 3 U-Joints simultaneously, because when one fails then the other 2 may be close to failing. This, however, is not my complaint. My complaint is that I was quoted a price of approximately $1,500 to replace all 3 U-Joints. This quote was for 7 hours labor @ #168/hr and 3 U-Joints, whose parts cost was quoted at $360. So I took my truck to my personal mechanic who replaced all 3 U-Joints for $300 ( 2 hours labor @ $80/hr parts). IT DOES NOT TAKE 7 HOURS TO REPLACE 3 U-Joints. You can charge whatever rate/hr you want, but you cannot charge a customer for time that you do not spend repairing the vehicle. Technically, this pricing policy is not illegal. They inflate the amount of time that it really takes to do the repair, and then they charge for each U-Joint individually at that inflated repair time. However, in reality, they only spend a fraction of the time repairing the vehicle. So in the end, you pay for 7 hours labor, when in actuality it only took less than 2 hours to do the repair. This is common practice at auto dealership repair centers. Just thought you should know...

I knew exactly what I wanted and had an email quote from another dealer that I was willing to pay. The General Manager got involved at the start and looked at my trade. He came back with a very good number and asked what it would take to sell me a vehicle. I showed him the email quote and said if he could get me that Tacoma, I'd do the deal. He came back in a few minutes and said they would do it. It came in that night and I picked it up the next day. The floor salesman was very helpful during the whole process as well. Of course, I had done my homework before I ever stepped onto the showroom floor. Overall, this was the lowest stress car purchase I've ever made.

We purchased the lifetime alignment for our vehicle. They changed the name from Champion Toyota to AutoNation Toyota several years ago and we have been to this dealership for 99% of the maintenance and repairs since the name change. Today, they decided to no longer honor the lifetime warranty on the alignment because "they changed names". I guess if they can find a loophole they can provide bad customer service and justify it.

We bought a new 2019 Toyota Highlander SE AWD on 12/28/19 thru Mario Lopez and had a good experience with him. We traded-in a vehicle and 12 days later have still NOT had our old car loan paid off by Auto Nation as contractually agreed. Being completely honest I was not happy at all this time. I made an appointment, showed up early and was met by the worker in the bay that said he was going to get my advisor. When the man came out his name was Omar and I booked with Russ as the one I wanted wasn't available for that day. No big deal there that person may have called off for the day. When I told Omar I was there for my first service he immediately told me what they were going to do which included a tire rotation and since it was busy it would be about an hour to an hour in a half. I mentioned at this point I had purchased my own tires and they had there own schedule to be rotated so take that off the list of things to do so as to not mess with the warranty on the tires. He kind of stumbled at that point and finally agreed saying yes you have expensive tires and you don't want to mess with those Michelins. I hesitantly said ok and went to the waiting area. You see my tires say B.F. Goodrich big and bold all over them and when he said Michelin I was a little thrown off. But like I said, I let it go and went to the waiting area. I'm sorry but that leaves an uneasy feeling when your service guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Remind self he's not the one working on it. An hour and twenty minutes later I went up to Omar and asked how things were coming along. He says, Oh it's going to be awhile I told you it would be two to two in a half hours. I said, No, you said it would be about an hour to an hour in a half and since you do not have to rotate the tires it should be less, don't you think? Omar stared for a moment and said the inspection had already been done so it'll be done in at least another fifteen to twenty more minutes. I said I hope so. Hmmm he hasn't talked to anyone or looked at a computer at this point so how does he know?? Meaningless words seemed to be just flying out at this point. You can obviously see I'm being fed a line here. I go back to my seat and noticed Omar is all of the sudden running around all over the place now when this whole time he was basically just sitting around chatting with others and low and behold there's my vehicle. Was he frantically trying to stop the tire rotation? Did he really even know what was going on? So many questions. He called me up to the counter and said I need your signature very sharp and tight lipped. Not explaining what had been done or what I was signing. I had to ask and got very short snappy non informative answers. Well I'm sorry he was caught being untruthful and it made him feel he had to treat me that way. Bottom line...if you're going to work in that field, at least know what you're talking about and do not make crap up. The other thing I do not like is you cannot see what is going on with your vehicle. You have no idea what they are really doing nor can you trust that any work has been done at all. I have been burned more than once before and honestly if it wasn't for the first time service for warranty purposes, I wouldn't go there at all just because of the past mistakes that have happened. Each and every time I have have said something and yet it remains the same. Unfortunately every other dealer is across town. Now this does not pertain to the sales. Only one experience there and it was a good one.

We had the best experience with Tim. On Christmas Eve I decide I wanted a Tacoma in Calvary Blue which they did not have on the lot. Tim was on it and managed to find one within a matter of an hour. We went through the necessary process (after negotiations) and I was now the proud owner of the Tacoma I always wanted. Since the truck was in Corpus Christi Tim gave us a date of delivery for the following Friday. He could tell I was disappointed not to get it sooner but of course I understood and I settled back to patiently wait. Tim called me 3 days later and said my truck was here and ready for pickup! A whole week early. I picked up my truck and I've been in love ever since! This was not my first experience buying a new vehicle but it was definitely a first in how easy and smoothly it all went!

I recently purchased a Ford Explorer from AutoNation Gulf Freeway. The sales associate I was assigned immediately handed me off to someone else. My new sales associate did a decent job. During the buying process I was offered a very low offer on my trade-in. I had a trade-in offer from another AN location which was much higher that I showed my sales guy. He went to discuss with his GM. The GM, Michael Child came over and immediately had an attitude and flat out told me he would not give me what I wanted. He said the other location did not offer me the amount I asked for even though I had proof they did. When I tried to explain this to him he told me he was not going to argue with me and that I was free to leave and purchase a car elsewhere. Not once was I argumentative with him. I have no idea what his bad attitude was for and why it was directed at me. I was shocked and appalled by his unprofessional behavior. The absolute only reason I did not immediately walk out without purchasing the car was because I did not want my sales associate to lose out on the sale due to his very rude GM. I informed my sales guy that I was not happy with the interaction with the GM and that I did not want the GM to speak to me again during the process. Later in the process another sales associate came over to try to take me away from my sales associate. I was told that the GM Michael Child was upset with my sales associate and was trying to take his sale away. I don't know what type of games and shadiness is going on at that dealership under that awful GM but it was beyond unprofessional. I purchased my car but will never go back to that dealership and will never recommend anyone else does.

Good people, no real pressure. Worked hard to get a deal done that I consider exceptional for me. Everything was great except the detailing...just wash the car yourself or take it somewhere. It looked much better before they got a hold of it. Came back with water spots, wax/cleaner still on car in spots, interior smears...just not a good job.

The experience was terrible car was miss priced initially and they advised they made a mistake and raised the price 2K. They then told me the vehicle was Auto Nation Certified and not even 5 days later I was in the Auto Nation Dealership getting the back breaks replaced because I guess they missed it and it wasnt certified.

Brought my 2019 Toyota Sienna in for its 10,000 mile scheduled maintenance. Brought vehicle in at 7:00 am; drove out by 8:00. Service Advisor Ani Varvar was a great to work with. I could not give an overall rating of 5 stars and gave facilities only 3 stars due to the poor condition of the chairs in the customer waiting area. Several chairs had cracked/ split vinyl; not very inviting to sit in. Otherwise the visit went well and I'll be back again to have my vehicle serviced here.

I came from Louisiana and was with my wife when we decided to look at a RAV4 we had in mind. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Chris Sepulveda in sales. Asked me about what I wanted went over my vehicle options and he helped me decide which one was best for me. At the end the price was right and the payments were even better. No pressure at all. Thomas Edele was the man who took care of me - he provided an excellent job - although the repair ran much higher than I had expected, he did everything he could to help - got me a ride to my appt when the repairs ran 4 times longer than expected. I trust him - he has always been upfront with me.

AutoNation Toyota willingly stepped up and took care of me and my truck when two other dealerships would not. The first dealership that didn't offer me any help is located around the Southwest 610 loop, where I take (used to take, as of now) my truck for all routine maintenance, oil changes, inspections. When that dealership failed to do the right thing, I called up the second Toyota dealership in North Houston near Tomball, from where I bought my current truck. They offered no help in getting this known defect fixed at their dealership either. After shedding a few tears, I finally called AutoNation (where I bought my first Tacoma back in 1999, it wasn't called AutoNation back then). I told them the situation and they immediately said they were well aware of the issue and to bring it in, and they'd take care of it. They submitted all the paperwork and got the necessary approval to get this known defect fixed, so that the expense didn't fall solely on me, as well as other customers having same issue. AutoNation isn't that close to where I live, but from now on that's the only place I'm taking my baby, and where I'll be purchasing my future Toyota's.

Took my car for an oil change and state inspection almost 2 weeks ago, waited 5 hours without any updates from the advisor during the time. Three days ago, started hearing weird noise from the engine while driving and the car stalls while I was driving to work. Fortunately I was already close to the parking lot at work or else who knows what could've happened if I was driving on the highway. Asked my colleague to help figure out the problem and saw that there was no oil on the dipping stick. Yes, I've been driving the past two weeks with leaking engine oil. Calls AutoNation Toyota and was told to have the car towed to them so they can check on the problem. Tow company that the roadside assistance hired came 3 hours later than they said. Finally my car arrives at the dealer, the advisor in charge of my oil change service calls to ask for details of the issue, says he would call back with an update the next morning, no offers of a loaner if needed assuming that I'll be fine without my car for who know how long. Next morning, NO CALLS AT ALL! So I called his direct line around 9:30am and left a voicemail. After 3 hours of waiting, still nothing, so I called the service line and found out that the advisor had the day off. Are you serious? What kind of service is this? I would've been a fool waiting for his call if I hadn't took the initiative of calling. The worst thing is that the person I spoke to told me she'll call me back after she talks to the technician about the status and the work on my car. So again I waited. After two hours, at 3PM, still no call so I called again and asked for the person who I spoke to, and I was told that she has left for the day. WHAT?! Is this for real? Just because my case was assigned to someone that had the day off means I shouldn't get the service you are supposed to provide? So I nicely asked the person on the phone to please find out what's going on with my car because almost a day has gone by and no one even told me what was the cause of the problem and how it'll be fixed. So the guy puts me on hold, comes back in a couple of minutes and tells me "they're working on it and should be ready next morning, your advisor will give you a call." So I asked if he can at least tell me what they're actually working on, and of course being the advisor that's not responsible for my car says "your advisor will give you a call tomorrow morning." At this point I am speechless and running out of patience, and after an hour I decided to call again and if I don't get an answer I will have to speak with a supervisor who should be able to tell me what's going on, hopefully. Finally, the person who answered my call was very helpful, put me on hold for ten minutes and explained to me the cause of the problem, faulty O-ring on the oil filter from the oil change they provided, told me about the works they had done to make sure the engine is working fine after the damages from the lack of oil, and that my car is ready for pickup. (My car is actually ready to be picked up!) She then transfers me to the service director for more details and ensured that there will be no cost for me since it was the faulty O-ring. So I said I'll be there in 30 minutes (thankfully a colleague of mine offered to drop me off there). I asked the director if I should ask for him when I get there, he says he'll be off by then but ask for this other person. When I got there, asked for this other person, was directed to his desk and told to wait. 10 minutes gone by, this other person is nowhere to be seen, but I do see my keys and paperwork, so we asked a nearby advisor if the guy will be here soon, the nearby advisor was nice enough and offered to help instead of the never-ending wait I've gone through. Although he helped me with getting my car back and the paperwork, he couldn't answer the questions that I had since he doesn't know about my case, if I wanted my answers, I would have to wait who knows how long for the guy who was supposed to help me to come back. I did not want to waste another second of my life dealing with this so asked for the guy, or my actual advisor to give me a call when they're back. At this moment, while writing my review, no follow-up calls, nothing, as if nothing happened. In the end, I got my car back in working condition, crossing my fingers on this since won't really know the damages until other problem occurs. After 2 days of dealing with this mess, it's really disappointing to see how ridiculous their service is, from the oil change to fixing the issue caused by the oil change. Throughout this whole time, no one offered any service or future service, no word about the cost of towing if it's more than what my extended warranty covers, or even a refund of the oil change, as if this whole thing wasn't caused by their faulty piece of equipment that they should've checked. Why should I have suffered for their mistakes when I paid to prevent issues from happening? It feels like I was taken advantage of because I'm an Asian female. I was a loyal customer, bought my car from them 4 years ago, had my services even state inspections done with them, and yet no one wanted to help, what a let down. Hopefully, after sharing this review, no other customer will be treated this poorly and have to go through this unpleasant experience ever.

We have been bringing in our company shuttle vehicle for years. The battery has been reported weak and once it failed. Advisor didn't bother looking if it was under warranty or not. Upon next oil change they reported good again, after last time it failed, saying the corrosion got cleaned up. Now the battery is dead, we had to get it towed so warranty could be applied to it. Kept on asking when would it be ready thinking a simple battery change shouldn't take days. The advisor this time didn't bother saying until the end of day 1, that they need to order it and it's not going to be ready. No follow up we had to call in on day 2 when they said it might be tomorrow. 3 days for a battery replacement? And they are selling millions of these vehicles and got none in stock? Extremely disappointing. especially after all the years we have been bringing it in, and spending thousands of dollars for maintenance. A manager could follow up if they care, but I don't think they do because I left a voicemail and never got a call back from them. All they want is the big bucks. Who is going to pay for the towing fee and for the time the vehicle is out of service?
